Retreats

Retreats are one way this work is held — offering an extended, place-based container for teaching that is otherwise shared through hosted programs. These immersive gatherings allow time for practice, reflection, and integration within a specific landscape and community.

Held over several days, retreats provide a rhythm that supports depth without intensity and structure without rigidity. They are designed to meet participants where they are, while remaining attentive to place, group dynamic, and the tone of the environment in which the work unfolds.

Scotland: Yoga & Nature Retreat

Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Forest

September 28-October 2, 2026

A quiet gathering along the fresh air of Loch Lomond in Scotland. This nature destination located NW of Glasgow revives the soul - It is for those who will slow down and reconnect with themselves.

This retreat is an invitation into steadiness — into days shaped by nourishment of good food, movement, nature, and rest.

September 28 is a yoga and nature retreat rooted in simplicity and care.

For those who understand the value of space, and are ready to spend time in a place that naturally supports ease.

Each day includes Hatha yoga practice, woven naturally with breath and meditation. Practices are steady and accessible, offered in a way that welcomes people who are new to yoga as well as those who have practiced for years. There is no expectation to perform, achieve, or push. The work here is quiet and embodied.

Crystal sound healing will be offered throughout the retreat as a supportive, settling practice. Time is intentionally left open — for walking, resting, writing, sitting by the water, or doing very little at all.

Nature is central to this retreat. The setting invites you outdoors in simple, unstructured ways: forest paths, shoreline walks along Loch Lomond, open land, and nearby trails. Yoga here is shaped by the landscape — not layered on top of it.

The retreat is held at The Oak Tree Inn, in the village of Balmaha, within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Accommodation & all-inclusive dining is held by the inn. Loch-view rooms available; double occupancy is an option for those who prefer to share with someone they know.

This retreat is guided by Lisa Owens, whose work centers on grounded movement, breath, and practices that support resilience in everyday life. She holds a clear, steady container, allowing each participant to engage at their own pace, in their own way.

Registration will open January 20, 2026

If you’d like to receive details when registration opens, or to stay in touch about this retreat, you’re welcome to leave your email. This is simply an invitation to remain connected on status & room availability.
